What you will do
- Deliver company materials to customers in a professional manner
- Meet and communicate with the public effectively and professionally
- Drive an automatic or manual transmission vehicle safely and legally
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks
- Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to pick, pack, distribute, or ship
- Move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or move orders to a holding area or shipping department
- Use a computer and radio frequency guns to manage sales orders, inventory, and business management system entries
- Participate in cycle counting of physical inventory
- Open boxes and other containers, and operate a wire cutter to cut wire according to customer orders
- Operate a forklift in a warehouse setting
- Sweep, dust, and mop, and keep the warehouse organized and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
- Assist customers at will call and walk-ins as required
