Where and how to check the final list
You can check the STI final merit list 2026 at your school’s notice board or on the STI portal. The department displays both at the same time, at 10:00 AM on 31 October.
- Visit the school where you applied. The list is on the notice board, arranged by subject.

- Check every school you applied to. Your position can differ from one school’s list to another.
- Photograph the list. Take a clear photo that shows your name, CNIC and marks. You may need it later if there is a query.
Can I check the list with my CNIC?
Yes, in part. Your CNIC and password give you access to your application status on the portal. School notice board lists usually show CNIC numbers next to names, so you can match your entry.
How to read the school-wise list
There is no single STI list for all of Punjab. Each school publishes its own list, split by subject, so you read the list for the school and subject you applied for.
Look for your name, CNIC and marks. The list usually separates selected candidates from waiting-list candidates. For the 2026 marks breakdown, rely on the official notice.
If you are selected
If your name is on the final list, agreement letters come first and the internship follows. Agreement letters are due on 2 November 2026, and the internship runs from 3 November 2026 to 31 May 2027. It is temporary and for a fixed period.

If your name is missing or you are on the waiting list
A missing name or a waiting-list position is not the end of the process. Start by checking calmly, step by step.
- Re-check every school you applied to. Your name may appear on one list and not another.
- Confirm your portal status. Log in and check your application status and the schools you selected.
- Remember that the objection window has closed. Objections were open on 26 to 27 October 2026.
- Contact the district office or the STI helpline with your documents if you believe you were wrongly left out.
- If you are on the waiting list, keep checking after 31 October. Waiting-list seats are usually filled when selected candidates do not join. This is not a promise of selection, and it depends on how many candidates take up their seats.
